In the good old days when we could all gather together for meet-ups I did a talk for Agile Yorkshire.

It was on one of my favourite subjects – the economics behind the work we do. This often overlooked and indeed unknown factor is what cripples large portfolios of work.

The talk pulls bits from Don Reinertson’s ‘The Principles of Product Development Flow’ and included a mini workshop of cost of delay by playing Mark Richards SAFe City game. Rather than me describe the talk here just go ahead and watch the video below.
